Urgent failures and escalations

Something important stopped working?

I troubleshoot business applications, databases, integrations, payments, and older software when nobody is sure where the problem actually is. You don’t need to diagnose it first. Tell me what worked before, what isn’t working now, and anything that changed recently.

When something is down

Start with the business symptom, not a perfect technical diagnosis.

  • Applications crashing or unavailable
  • Payments, orders or customer workflows failing
  • Databases, integrations or scheduled jobs stopped
  • Legacy software breaking after a change

What I investigate

I work from the visible problem toward the part of the system that needs attention.

  • Application and backend behavior
  • Database, API and integration failures
  • Deployments, configuration and runtime issues
  • Whether the issue belongs with a provider or another specialist

Customers cannot pay

Checkout, payment callbacks or order creation can fail at different points in the same workflow.

  • Checkout errors or stalled confirmations
  • Payments accepted but orders missing
  • Webhook, gateway or application-side failures
  • Safe reconciliation without exposing card data

Applications and websites down

A visible 500, 502 or unavailable page is the beginning of the investigation, not the diagnosis.

  • Internal applications crashing
  • Revenue-critical website workflows failing
  • Deployments, DNS, TLS or backend behavior
  • A clear boundary when the provider is down

Data, integrations and automation

The software may be running while the records or jobs the business depends on are no longer moving.

  • Orders or inventory stopped syncing
  • Databases unavailable or severely degraded
  • Scheduled jobs, workers or pipelines stopped
  • Legacy software with no available developer

Have a software failure to untangle?

Text the plain-English version. I will help determine whether this is an urgent rescue, an ongoing software project or something outside my lane.
